Once your pickup and delivery store is set up, you will see a Pickups button in the top navigation bar of CleanCloud. This is where all pickup orders—whether placed via the POS, Customer App, or Web Booking Tool—will appear.
You can track your drivers in real-time by navigating to Settings → Users → Driver Locations. This opens a live map displaying current driver positions, which can be filtered by different time ranges using the selector at the top right of the map.
Managing Pickup Orders
On the Pickups page, you can:
Accept or decline new orders (if orders are not set to be accepted automatically). To enable automatic acceptance, go to Settings → Admin → Pickup and Delivery → Automatically Accept All Orders.
Update order statuses when pickups are completed.
View, edit, and filter orders and customer preferences to ensure smooth operations.
Order Workflow
1. Pickup Stage
Orders appear on the Pickups page when scheduled by customers online (Customer App or Web Booking Tool) or manually added by staff via the POS.
After the driver collects the order and marks it as Picked Up in the Driver App, or staff marks it as Collected in the POS, the order moves to the Cleaning page.
2. Detail Stage
If additional steps are enabled, the order may first move to the Detail page before proceeding to the cleaning stage. This can be enabled at Settings → Admin → Workflow → Detailing Page → Active.
3. Cleaning Stage
Once cleaning is completed, staff marks the order as Cleaned.
The order then moves to the Ready page, indicating that it is now prepared for delivery or pickup.
4. Delivery Stage
The order is assigned for delivery in the Driver App.
Driver locations can be tracked in real-time through the Driver Locations map.
It can be tracked on the Delivery Printout page, ensuring visibility of scheduled deliveries.
Delivery Printout Page
Your Pickups and Deliveries will also be listed on the Delivery Printout page, which can be accessed from the Pickups page. This provides a centralized overview of all upcoming deliveries, helping your team stay organized and efficient.
Troubleshooting Pickup and Delivery Issues
Verify Route and Time Slot Settings: Ensure you have active pickup routes and time slots. Without these, delivery services cannot function properly.
Check Timing Requirements: CleanCloud requires a minimum of 24 hours between pickup and delivery. Adjust any schedules that conflict with this rule.
Apply Updated Settings: If settings changes aren't showing up, try logging out, closing the application completely, and logging back in.
Recording and Modifying Order Types
To change an order type (e.g., from In-store to Pickup & Delivery):
Navigate to the Calendar View by clicking the clock icon.
Use the dropdown option labeled 'Order Type' to switch between In-store and Pickup & Delivery.
