Integrated Lockers: Winnsen Integration

Integrate your Winnsen smart lockers with CleanCloud to automate order drop offs and pickups.

CleanCloud gives you a variety of locker setups to handle multiple locations. Our integration with Winnsen Lockers lets CleanCloud and your lockers communicate automatically to make operations run smoothly.

The integrated locker workflow begins when a customer drops off a new order. Your driver picks it up, you process the items, and the driver returns the clean order to the locker for the customer to collect.

Before you start

  • Verify your CleanCloud account is on the Grow or Grow+ subscription plan. This is required to access the API. An API is a software link that lets your locker communicate automatically with CleanCloud.

  • Create a user account for your driver. You can do this on the Users page of your CleanCloud account or directly at the locker.


Procedure: Set up the integration

  1. Navigate to Settings ≡ → Admin → Pickup and Delivery → API in your CleanCloud account.

  2. Copy your API key.

  3. Enter your CleanCloud API key into your Winnsen locker system. The locker is now connected.


Procedure: Place an order

  1. Create an online account on the CleanCloud Customer App or the web booking tool.

  2. Log into the locker using the unique customer QR Code shown in the CleanCloud Customer App. A QR Code is a scannable square barcode that securely logs the customer in.

  3. Select the drop off option on the locker screen. An available locker door will open.

  4. Place the order inside and close the door.


Procedure: Receive the order

  1. Open the Pickups tab in your CleanCloud POS account to view the new order. The POS is your main point of sale dashboard where you manage operations.

  2. Open the Driver App on the scheduled pickup day to view the route.

  3. Log into the locker using driver user credentials and select the pickup option.

  4. Take the receipt printed from the locker.

  5. Scan the receipt barcode to open the locker door and retrieve the items.


Procedure: Process and deliver the order

  1. Process the cleaning order in CleanCloud as normal.

  2. Bring the clean order back to the locker.

  3. Enter driver credentials at the locker and scan the order barcode. An available locker door will open.

  4. Place the items inside and close the door.

  5. Click Delivered in the Driver App. The system will automatically notify the customer.


Procedure: Pick up the order

  1. Log into the locker using the customer credentials.

  2. Select the pickup option. The locker door will open.

  3. Retrieve the items and close the door.


If it did not work

Issue 1: You cannot find your API key

  • Verify that you are subscribed to the CleanCloud Grow or Grow+ plan. The API section will not appear on lower tiers.

Issue 2: The locker does not open for the driver

  • Check that the driver has an active user account. You can verify this on the Users page in your CleanCloud account.

Issue 3: The customer did not receive a delivery notification

  • Ensure the driver clicked Delivered in the Driver App after placing the items back in the locker.
