🤓 Frequently Asked Questions

How can I confirm if my Driver App is up to date?

Check your current app version in the CleanCloud Driver App and compare it with the latest version on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Tip: Enable auto-install for updates to always have the latest features and bug fixes.

Why do unpaid orders disappear from the Ready page once marked Delivered in the Driver App?

Orders marked as Delivered are removed from live POS views (Cleaning, Ready, Pickups) but remain accessible via Search. To allow drivers to complete payments directly:

  1. Go to Settings → Admin → Pickup & Delivery → Driver App.

  2. Enable Allow Payment in Driver App.

This lets drivers charge stored cards and complete orders in one workflow.

Why is my order not showing in the Driver App for a scheduled pickup or delivery?

By default, the Driver App only shows today’s orders. Switch the date view to see orders up to 5 days ahead.

Extra tip:

  • For pickups, the order must be on the Pickups page in the POS.

  • For deliveries, the order must be on the Ready page.

  • Ensure the POS order status aligns with the correct pickup or delivery workflow stage.

What else should I check if an order is missing in the Driver App?

If the order still doesn’t appear after adjusting the date:

  • Confirm a delivery date is set in the POS.

Why would an order disappear in the Driver App due to route changes?

Route adjustments can cause orders to temporarily fall out of sync. Always ensure route edits are saved and synchronized with the app so drivers see accurate assignments.

What if an order cannot be marked as delivered in the Driver App?

If the Deliver option is unavailable, check the following:

  1. Route time slots: Orders cannot be added to slots that have already started. Break long slots into smaller segments for more flexibility.

  2. Order status: Ensure the POS system shows the correct status (e.g., Cleaned). Features like Navigate also depend on accurate status alignment.

  3. Driver permissions: Confirm the driver has the correct route permissions and has selected the route in the app.

How do I enable push notifications for new orders?

  1. Go to Settings → Admin → Pickup & Delivery → Notifications.

  2. Enable Send Push Notifications to Driver App for New Orders.

  3. Choose whether to send notifications only when drivers are clocked in.

Note: Drivers must allow notifications for the CleanCloud Driver App on their device.

Best practices for Driver App users

  • Regularly check and update delivery dates, route assignments, and order statuses in the POS.

  • Use shorter route time slots for greater scheduling flexibility.

  • Confirm driver permissions and ensure updated routes are selected in the app.

  • Sync the app after making any order or route changes to ensure accuracy.
