What Are Drop Locations?
Drop Locations are a new type of locker that simplifies the order process for your customers. Unlike traditional lockers, customers don’t need to specify a locker number when placing an order. Instead, they can simply select a Drop Location and leave their items in the designated space.
How to Enable Drop Locations
To start using Drop Locations, follow these steps:
Navigate to Lockers Settings: Settings → Admin → Pickup and Delivery → Lockers.
Create a Drop Location: Creating a drop location is simple, click Add Locker, at the top right of the page
On the Add Locker Location popup, enter all the required information
Name
Address – Location Identifier
Locker Type – Set this to Drop Location
Min Locker Value – You can leave this Blank
Max Locker Value – You can leave this Blank
Route # Override
Active Status
Has Custom Delivery Fee
Instructions to Customers
Submit Your Changes: Once submitted the Drop Location will be available for customers.
How Customers Use Drop Locations
When placing an order via the Web Booking Tool or mobile app, customers should select Locker as the order type, and then select the Drop Location.
They can then place their order in the app, and leave their items at the designated Location.
