Drivers can create new orders directly from the Driver App. This is particularly useful when a driver arrives at a customer's location for a pickup or delivery, and the customer requests a new order on the spot. Instead of relying on the store, the driver can quickly process the order themselves.
How to Create an Order in the Driver App
Follow these steps to create a new order:
Ensure you are logged into the Driver App.
On the main feed, tap the ( + ) icon in the top right corner.
A New Order screen will appear, where the driver can enter order details.
Fill in the following fields:
Customer Name – Start typing the name, and the app will auto-populate existing customers from the database. Select the correct customer from the dropdown list.
Bags – Enter the number of bags.
Pieces – Enter the number of individual pieces.
Notes – Add any relevant order notes.
Order Type – Choose either Pickup & Delivery or Delivery Only.
Pickup & Delivery Dates and Times – Select a start and end time for the pickup/delivery window.
After entering all the required information, press Submit to create the order.
✅ The order will now appear in both the Driver App and CleanCloud POS, ensuring seamless order tracking and processing.
