Discover the new CleanCloud Calendar tool: larger view, flexible scheduling and order editing to streamline in-store and delivery workflows.

We've redesigned our calendar tool from the ground up, this may slightly affect your workflow so we’re giving you a heads up to what this change entails. This change brings some great enhancements, helping you to create and edit orders more accurately.


What You Can Expect

Expansive View

Now when clicking the scheduling button in the bottom right (Clock Icon), a popup will appear that’s around 60% larger.

Edit Confirmation & Universal Order Review Options

If enabled, this setting will prompt you with an Order Review Popup whenever you edit an order in the system. The popup asks you to confirm and submit the changes you wish to make, helping to prevent unwanted alterations and ensuring a consistent design for delivery partners.

Change to Delivery Partners

Previously, it wasn’t possible to change the delivery date once an order had been placed. This is now a thing of the past, and you’re able with the new booking tool to edit the delivery date of a DoorDash and Uber order even once it’s picked up.

Enhanced Usability

With the new calendar tool, you can schedule orders many more weeks in advance. This means that you’re able to push back deadlines for weeks depending on the work that needs to be done.

Touch Interface

The new calendar tool is the perfect size for use on a touch display such as an iPad or a touch display.


Impacts to In-Store Order Workflows

Changes to in-store workflows are minimal and designed to be as unobtrusive as possible.

Scheduling Orders

When clicking the scheduling button, you’ll now see an expanded view of the scheduling tool. Simply select your desired “ready-by” date and save. This updated tool allows scheduling much further into the future for greater flexibility.

Editing Orders

When making edits to an in-store order, you’ll now encounter a new order review popup. This popup prompts you to confirm and submit any changes, helping prevent unintended modifications and ensuring a consistent experience for our delivery partners.

These updates aim to streamline the process while maintaining ease of use and accuracy.


Impacts to Pickup & Delivery Order Workflows

The enhancements to Pickup and Delivery workflows are transformative, improving every stage of the order creation process.

Creating a Pickup and Delivery Order

When placing a pickup and delivery order in-store, simply click the clock icon in the bottom-right corner (the scheduling button), select the desired pickup date, and use the time slot selector on the right to schedule both pickup and delivery times. Once set, just submit to complete scheduling.

Editing a Pickup and Delivery Order

You now have the flexibility to reschedule the pickup and delivery times independently. After making adjustments, an order review confirmation will prompt you to confirm your changes. When you’re satisfied, just click submit to save.

These updates aim to streamline the workflow, providing greater control and an improved user experience.


How to Enable the Order Edit Review Popup?

The Order Review Popup is a helpful tool for ensuring that any changes you make to the ready by date, pickup date/time, or delivery date/time are accurate. Follow the steps below to enable this feature:

  1. Click the three lines in the top-left corner to access Settings.

  2. Navigate to Admin → Workflow → General Settings.

  3. Enable the Review Order Update option.
