If you're currently using Stripe for payments and want to switch to Clearent, you can migrate your customer payment data through a token migration process. This ensures a smooth transition while maintaining payment security.
🗒️ Notes:
Stripe is no longer available for new CleanCloud customers. However, existing users in unsupported regions can continue using it.
Token migration can only be done during your initial customer import into CleanCloud.
The process takes up to 14 working days once Stripe prepares the export.
Getting Started with Migration
1. Set Up Your Clearent Account
Before starting the migration, ensure you have a merchant account set up with Clearent.
2. Provide Your Customer List
Download your customer list from your current software provider.
Email it to [email protected].
3. Request Data Export from Stripe
Log in to your Stripe business account and fill out the Stripe Data Migration Request Form.
Under "Which file format would you prefer for your export?", select JSON (recommended for best results).
4. Confirm Your Stripe Data Migration
After submitting the request:
Click “Send Email” to submit your request to Stripe.
Stripe will send an email confirmation – reply with “Confirm” to proceed.
Stripe will then send another email outlining the data for export. If correct, reply with “Yes, please proceed”.
5. Finalize the Migration
Within 1 business day, Stripe will send a final email confirming the export is ready.
Forward this email to [email protected].
CleanCloud will handle the rest and submit your details to Clearent for processing.
