If you offer pickup and delivery services, you can customize how you communicate with your customers and staff through various notification methods.
Configuration Options
Navigate to Settings → Admin → Pickup and Delivery → Notifications to set up your preferences.
1. Notify Customers By
Under Settings → Admin → Pickup and Delivery → Notifications → Notify Customers by, choose how to notify online customers: via SMS, email, SMS and email, WhatsApp (if enabled), or no notification.
Note: This setting will override the default notification preferences set at Settings → Admin → Notifications → General Notifications → Default Notify By Method.
2. Email Address to Notify Staff of New Orders
Enter an email address to receive notifications whenever a new online order is placed.
3. Phone Number to Notify Staff by SMS for New Orders
Input a phone number to receive SMS notifications for new online orders.
4. Send Customer Email After Signing Up
Activate this option to send a welcome email to new customers.
5. Send Pickup Reminder the Day Before
Enable this feature to send customers a reminder the day before their scheduled pickup.
6. Custom Text in Welcome Email
Personalize your welcome email with a custom message or offer. If left blank, a default message will be sent.
7. Send Customer a Calendar Alert with Email Notifications
Enable this option to send calendar alerts with email notifications.
8. Timezone for Calendar Alert
Select the appropriate timezone if the calendar alert option is enabled.
🗒️ Notes:
SMS notifications require credits, which can be purchased at Settings → Admin → Notifications → SMS → SMS Credits → Buy SMS Credits.
Remember to click Submit after making changes to save your preferences.
