Ensuring the correct weight for an order is crucial for accurate processing and customer satisfaction. CleanCloud allows you to set up triggers that prompt for a re-weigh at key stages in the order lifecycle to help maintain accuracy.
Re-Weighing an Order After Cleaning
You can configure CleanCloud to prompt staff to re-weigh an order after it has been marked as cleaned. This ensures that the entire order is present before moving it to the next stage.
How to Enable the Re-Weigh Prompt After Cleaning
Navigate to Settings → Admin → Workflow → Cleaning Page.
Locate the option Prompt For Re-Weigh When Order Cleaned.
Enable this setting and click Submit to save changes.
Important Notes:
This feature does not automatically update the order weight.
It is intended to verify that the weight matches what the customer initially provided.
If you need to adjust the weight, you must manually edit the order via the New Order page.
Re-Weighing an Order on the Ready Page
When a customer arrives to collect an order, you can set up a prompt to re-weigh the laundry bags before handing them over. This allows staff to compare the original weight with the current weight for accuracy.
How to Enable the Re-Weigh Prompt on the Ready Page
Navigate to Settings → Admin → Workflow → Ready Page.
Locate the option Prompt For Re-Weigh When Giving Order to Customer.
Enable this setting and click Submit to apply the changes.
Wet Weight Button
For laundry products, CleanCloud includes a Wet Weight feature. If an order was originally marked with a wet weight, the system will prompt staff to re-weigh it before marking the order as cleaned.
Where to Find the Wet Weight Indicator
On the New Order page, Wet Weight is displayed in the order details.
On the Cleaning page, Wet Weight is highlighted to ensure the order is re-weighed before marking it as cleaned.
How to Remove Wet Weight
If you need to adjust the wet weight:
Click on the bin (trash) icon next to the weight.
Re-weigh the order and enter the updated weight.
Submit the changes to update the order.
