Setting Up and Managing In-Store Orders in CleanCloud

Enable and manage in-store orders in CleanCloud via app, web, or POS, including first-order discounts for new customers.

In-store orders in CleanCloud are designed for customers who prefer to drop off and collect their laundry directly at your store. These orders can be placed by customers using the CleanCloud Customer App or Web Booking Tool, or by your staff through the in-store POS system.

This guide walks you through how to enable in-store orders, what the process looks like for customers, and how to set up a first-order discount to welcome new walk-in customers.


What Are In-Store Orders?

In-store orders offer your customers a simple and flexible way to manage their laundry without using pickup or delivery services. Customers can:

  • Select a drop-off date using the Customer App or Web Booking Tool.

  • Add specific order details (e.g., number of laundry bags or special care instructions).

  • Drop off their items at the store and collect them once they're ready.

Enabling In-Store Ordering

To allow in-store orders, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings β†’ Admin β†’ Store Settings β†’ Services Offered.

  2. Enable the following toggles:

    • Let Customers Place In-Store Orders from Customer App.

    • Allow Customers to Request Bringing Their Orders to Their Car (optional, for curbside drop-offs).

πŸ“Œ Note: Make sure your store hours are correctly set in the system. The in-store ordering option will only appear if your store hours are properly configured.


Customer Experience in the App

Once in-store ordering is enabled, your customers can place an order through either the CleanCloud Customer App or the Web Booking Tool by following these steps:

  • Log in to their account.

  • Select the In-Store order type.

  • Choose a drop-off date that works for them.

  • Pick from available time slots – typically displayed as Morning or Afternoon.

  • Enter any useful notes, such as the number of bags or special instructions.

  • On the final page, review the Expected Ready Date and Time.

  • Submit the order for in-store drop-off.

This provides a convenient laundry experience without needing pickup or delivery options.


First Order Discount for In-Store Customers

To make the in-store experience even more welcoming, CleanCloud allows you to automatically apply a discount to a new customer's first order.

To enable the first-order discount:

  1. Go to Settings β†’ Admin β†’ Workflow β†’ General Settings.

  2. Find the First Order Discount (%) setting.

  3. Set your desired discount percentage.

Once this is configured, any new customer created in POS will automatically receive the discount on their first in-store order – no extra steps needed by your staff.
