Ensuring that you have the correct weight for the order is an essential part of the process of fulfilling customer orders. In order to help ensure accuracy, you can set up certain triggers that will prompt for a re-weigh of certain orders.

Re-Weighing an Order After Cleaned

You can set up an option to prompt for a re-weigh after you have marked an order as cleaned. This is particularly useful to ensure you have the entire order after the cleaning process.

To set up Prompt For Re-Weigh When Order Cleaned, go to Settings > Admin > Workflow > Cleaning Page in your settings and enable this update.

Note: This feature doesn't update the order if you've added or removed weight during reweighing. It's designed to verify that you have the correct laundry weight that the customer initially sent to the store. If you need to adjust the weight, you should do this via the New Order page by editing the order.

Re-Weighing an Order on the Ready Page

When a customer comes to collect an order on the Ready page, you can set up an option to prompt for a re-weigh of the laundry bags to ensure the entire order is there. You will be able to compare the original weight to the current weight to check for accuracy.

To set this up, go to Admin > Workflow > Ready Page > Prompt For Re-Weigh When Giving Order to Customer.

Wet Weight Button

When weighing laundry products, there is now a “Wet Weight” button. If any of the bags being weighed was originally assigned as wet, then staff will be asked to reweigh before marking the order as cleaned.

On the New Order page, you can find an indication of a Wet Weight in the order details. This indication is also shown on the Cleaning page, so make sure to re-weight the order before marking it as cleaned.

Note: To remove the Wet Weight, click on the bin icon and add the re-weight.
