Ensuring the correct weight for an order is crucial for accurate processing and customer satisfaction. CleanCloud allows you to set up triggers that prompt for a re-weigh at key stages in the order lifecycle to help maintain accuracy.

Re-Weighing an Order After Cleaning

You can configure CleanCloud to prompt staff to re-weigh an order after it has been marked as cleaned. This ensures that the entire order is present before moving it to the next stage.

How to Enable the Re-Weigh Prompt After Cleaning

  1. Navigate to Settings → Admin → Workflow → Cleaning Page.

  2. Locate the option Prompt For Re-Weigh When Order Cleaned.

  3. Enable this setting and click Submit to save changes.

Important Notes:

  • This feature does not automatically update the order weight.

  • It is intended to verify that the weight matches what the customer initially provided.

  • If you need to adjust the weight, you must manually edit the order via the New Order page.

Re-Weighing an Order on the Ready Page

When a customer arrives to collect an order, you can set up a prompt to re-weigh the laundry bags before handing them over. This allows staff to compare the original weight with the current weight for accuracy.

How to Enable the Re-Weigh Prompt on the Ready Page

  1. Navigate to Settings → Admin → Workflow → Ready Page.

  2. Locate the option Prompt For Re-Weigh When Giving Order to Customer.

  3. Enable this setting and click Submit to apply the changes.

Wet Weight Button

For laundry products, CleanCloud includes a Wet Weight feature. If an order was originally marked with a wet weight, the system will prompt staff to re-weigh it before marking the order as cleaned.

Where to Find the Wet Weight Indicator

  • On the New Order page, Wet Weight is displayed in the order details.

  • On the Cleaning page, Wet Weight is highlighted to ensure the order is re-weighed before marking it as cleaned.

How to Remove Wet Weight

If you need to adjust the wet weight:

  1. Click on the bin (trash) icon next to the weight.

  2. Re-weigh the order and enter the updated weight.

  3. Submit the changes to update the order.
