CleanCloud's MailChimp integration allows you to seamlessly sync customer names and email data with your MailChimp account whenever a new customer is created in CleanCloud. This integration enables you to send professional marketing emails to your customers using MailChimp's robust email tools.


How to Activate the MailChimp Integration

  1. Go to Settings → Admin → Marketing in CleanCloud.

  2. Input your MailChimp API Key and List ID into the respective fields.

  3. Click the Submit button to enable the integration.


Finding Your MailChimp API Key

  1. Click here to access the API Keys section of your MailChimp account.

  2. Copy an existing API key or click Create A Key to generate a new one.

  3. Give the key a descriptive name (e.g., "CleanCloud Integration") for easy identification.


Finding Your MailChimp Audience or List ID

To locate your List ID, follow MailChimp's guide.


Customer Import to MailChimp

  • Export Existing Customers:

    • For current CleanCloud customers, export your customer list via the Metrics → Data Export feature in CleanCloud.

  • Future Customer Sync:

    • After the export, all newly created customers will automatically sync with your MailChimp audience.

  • Marketing Permission Checkbox:

    • If you’ve activated the marketing checkbox in your account, ensure the Marketing Permission box is checked when creating a customer to include them in MailChimp campaigns.
