One Time Tags offer a non-permanent, barcoded tagging workflow for processing orders in CleanCloud. As the name implies, each tag is used only once. They display a barcode, customer name, order ID, item name, and any order notes.
⚠️ Important: One Time Tags require a USB-connected printer. Currently, Ethernet printers do not support one-time tags.
What One Time Tags Look Like
The One Time Tags will have a barcode, customers name, order ID, item name and order notes (if applicable). Depending on what printer you are using, the tags will look like the below images:
Epson TM-U220 Printer: Standard tag format.
Zebra ZD220 Printer: Offers a different label style.
Format and Size
CleanCloud supports two label sizes for One Time Tags, which vary by printer model:
1.6 x 2.4 inches (40mm x 60mm)
3.75 x 1 inch (95.25mm x 25.4mm)
📌 Note: The size and format of tags depend on the printer in use. For assistance, reach out to our Support Team or Onboarding Specialist.

One Time Tag Workflow
Using One Time Tags enables streamlined workflows with assisted or automatic assembly for items:
Create an Order: Place the order via the New Order Page.
Tag Printing: A barcode ID is assigned, and the One Time Tag prints.
Tag and Process: Attach the tag to the item(s) and continue processing.
Assembly Page: On the Assembly page, scan the item to assign it to a rack location.
Order Completion: Once all items in an order are scanned, they automatically move to the Ready page (depending on your Assembly settings).
Additional Information
One Time Tags function similarly to Garment Tags, with the added benefit of barcodes for assembly.
In Plant Mode, scanning a One Time Tag updates the item status. Once all items are scanned, the order progresses to the next plant stage.
