If you would like to use a non-permanent barcoded tag workflow, when you process orders within your CleanCloud account, then we would recommend using One Time Tags. As included in the name of this tagging method, the tags simply get used once.

What does this type of tag look like?

The One Time Tags will have a barcode, customers name, order ID, item name and order notes (if applicable). Depending on what printer you are using, the tags will look like the below images:

Tags printed with the Epson U220

Tags printed with the Zebra ZD220

Format and Size

We have two options for label sizes and formats that will be determined by which printer you use. Please take a look at the two options listed below:

1.6 inches (40mm) x 2.4 Inches (60mm)

3.75 inches (95.25mm) x 1 inch (25.4mm)

Note: It's important to keep in mind that the format and size will depend on the printer you are using. If there are any additional questions please contact our Customer Support or your Onboarding Specialist for further information.

What type of printer do I need?

We recommend the following printers which integrate with CleanCloud and print One Time Tags:

  • Epson TM-U220

  • TSC TTP-247

  • Zebra ZD220

  • Zebra TLP2824 Plus

  • Zebra TLP2824-Z

πŸ‘‰ If you're interested in buying one of our printers, please take a look at the article CleanCloud's Recommended Hardware for further information.

Workflow

By using one-time tags, you can enable a workflow that allows for assisted/automatic assembly of orders.

1. Order is created on the New Order Page.

2. Barcode ID will automatically be assigned to the item and One Time Tag will print.

3. Attach the tag to the item(s).

4. Process the items as you would normally.

5. On the Assembly page, if you scan an item it will assign the garment to a rack location automatically. For more information on how to set up Assisted Assembly, click on this article here.

6. Depending on your Assembly settings, once all items within an order have been scanned, the order will move to the Ready page.

Other information

πŸ‘‰ Similar to Garment Tags, the main difference is the inclusion of a barcode which can be used to assemble orders.

πŸ‘‰ If you use our Plant mode, and you scan a One Time Tag, the system will update the status of the item for you. Once all items in an order have been scanned, the order will move to the next stage in the plant.
