Order Update Notifications

Keep customers informed about their order status with CleanCloud's customisable notifications. Notifications can be sent via email, SMS, push notifications, and WhatsApp (where available), ensuring customers stay up to date at every stage of their order.

General Settings

To set up notifications, go to Settings → Admin → Notifications → General Settings. Here you can:

  • Set default notification preferences

  • Choose whether customer notification settings are saved per customer

  • Select delivery methods: email, SMS, push, or WhatsApp


Notification Options

You can enable notifications for the following events:

  • Order Created

  • Order Edited and Total Changes

  • Order Edited and Date or Time Changes

  • Order Cleaned and Ready (In-store order)

  • Order Cleaned and Ready (Delivery order)

  • Pickup Order Picked Up

  • Delivery Order Delivered

  • When Invoice Paid (Email only)


Advanced Customisation

To tailor individual notification methods, access each type's settings under its specific tab in Settings → Admin → Notifications (e.g., SMS, Email, Push).


How to Preview Email Notifications

  1. Register a test account using a valid email address

  2. Place a test order and go through the full order workflow (Detail, Cleaning, Ready)

  3. Check the email address at each stage to preview what your customers will receive

Make sure email notifications are enabled before running the test.


ℹ️ Notes

  • SMS notifications require credits. Purchase at Settings → Admin → Notifications → SMS → SMS Credits → Buy SMS Credits.

  • Email and push notifications are free and do not require additional credits.
