CleanCloud offers a free, efficient way to keep your customers updated through push notifications. Customers with the CleanCloud app or branded app will receive instant order updates and can engage in two-way conversations directly within the app.

Activating Push Notifications

To enable push notifications:

  1. Go to Settings → Admin → Notifications → Push.

  2. Toggle on Use Push Notifications.

  3. Optional: Enable Send Email/SMS if Push Not Successful for added coverage.

Order Updates

Customers with push notifications enabled will receive alerts for key order statuses:

  • Order Created

  • Order Edited and Total Changes

  • Order Edited and Date or Time Changes

  • Order Cleaned and Ready

  • Pickup Order Picked Up

  • Delivery Order Delivered

  • When Auto Charge Saved Card Fails

Additionally, you can enable Driver On Their Way Notifications for live updates when drivers are en route.

📌 Note: Push notifications are temporary alerts; they won’t appear in the chat history.

Two-Way Push Messaging

Enhance customer interaction with two-way messaging:

Customer App: Customers can initiate conversations via the message icon in the app.

POS: Notifications appear on the POS screen. Select "Push" to reply.

Push Marketing

Expand your customer reach through targeted push marketing:

  1. Go to Settings → Marketing → Push.

  2. Compose Message: Write and preview your marketing message.

  3. Set Triggers: Under Action and Add Rules, configure when and how messages are sent.

  4. Exclude Business Accounts: Optionally, exclude business accounts by toggling Exclude Business Account.

  5. View Recipients: Click Affected Customers to see who will receive the message.

🗒️ Notes:

  • Only customers with the app installed, notifications enabled, and who have opted in to marketing will receive push marketing messages.

  • For best results, use short and direct messages. It's recommended to keep push titles under 40 characters and push content under 200 characters. Exceeding these limits may result in a "Request contains validation errors" message.
