1. Review Order Update
If you encounter the "Unable to detect order changes!" error when editing a DoorDash order, enabling the 'Review Order Update' option in your POS can resolve the issue.
Go to Settings → Admin → Workflow → General Settings.
Toggle on the Review Order Update option.
2. Address Restrictions in NYC
If you're based in New York City, specific address restrictions may affect orders within designated routes. You may see the error message “Selected address is not within service area” when trying to place an order.
Bridges, Boroughs, and Tunnels
Due to new laws in NYC, DoorDash no longer supports deliveries that require crossing bridges, boroughs, or tunnels. This regulation may cause error messages when creating orders that don't comply with this rule.

3. Selected Address is Not Within Service Area
DoorDash supports deliveries and pickups up to 15 miles from your store address, provided the address is within DoorDash’s active coverage area.
However, some addresses within the 15-mile range may still be unavailable, particularly for pickup.
Why This Happens
Pickup limitations: DoorDash may be unable to dispatch drivers to pick up from certain customer addresses, even if they are within range.
Rural or hard-to-reach areas: Coverage can be limited outside dense urban zones.
One-way availability: In some cases, DoorDash may allow delivery only but not pickup.
When this occurs, customers typically see the error “Pickup address not serviceable.”
⚠️ DoorDash does not provide a fixed list of unsupported addresses, so availability can only be confirmed by testing an order.
What You Can Do
Most addresses within range will work, but exceptions apply.
As an alternative, enabling Uber may help, as Uber sometimes covers areas that DoorDash does not.
