If you're a CleanCloud customer in the United States and are using or planning to set up a custom phone number for SMS, you must register a 10DLC brand to comply with recent industry regulations.
These rules, introduced by The Campaign Registry (TCR), are designed to enhance SMS security and reliability through better spam and fraud prevention.
📌 Note: 10DLC registration is required for all businesses sending SMS from US-based numbers. Messages from non-registered US numbers may be blocked by carriers. CleanCloud cannot register 10DLC for non-US numbers, and messages from those numbers will not be delivered to US recipients unless compliant.
How to Register Your 10DLC Brand
To enable successful SMS delivery and avoid message filtering, CleanCloud will register your brand on your behalf. Please provide the following business information to our Support Team:
Legal Company Name
Full Owner Name
Organization’s Legal Structure (e.g., Public or Private)
Tax Number/ID/EIN
Complete Address
Email Address
Website
Once submitted, we will initiate your registration with TCR. Campaign approval typically takes 2–3 weeks, depending on carrier processing times.
Marketing and Usage Consent
To meet 10DLC compliance, the following settings must be active in your CleanCloud account:
Enable Customer Consent for Marketing
Go to: Settings → Admin → Marketing → Enable Marketing Email & SMS Opt-In. This ensures customers provide consent when signing up via the app or web.
Terms & Conditions Update
CleanCloud will add carrier-compliant SMS usage language to your Terms & Conditions, visible in the Customer App and Web Booking Tool.
