Learn how to register a 10DLC brand for your US custom phone number to comply with new SMS regulations, including fees and required info.

If you're in the US and have or plan to set up a Custom Phone Number with CleanCloud, you must register a 10DLC brand to comply with new regulations enhancing SMS security and reliability, including advanced spam and fraud detection filters.

These industry-wide requirements from The Campaign Registry (TCR) affect all 10DLC providers and companies.


How to Register 10DLC

When obtaining a brand-new custom phone number, it is imperative to register your custom phone number to ensure your SMS messages are sent. To register, we will require the following information:

  1. Legal Company Name

  2. Full Owner Name

  3. Organization's Legal Structure (Publicly traded or private)

  4. Tax Number/ID/EIN

  5. Complete Address

  6. Email Address

  7. Website


🗒️ Notes:

  • Due to carrier updates, campaign approval takes 2–3 weeks.

  • All US numbers must be registered to prevent US carrier message blocks.
