If you're a CleanCloud customer in the US using or planning to set up a custom phone number, you’ll need to register a 10DLC brand to comply with updated regulations from The Campaign Registry (TCR). These regulations are designed to improve SMS security and reliability by enforcing advanced spam and fraud detection measures.
These requirements apply to all businesses using 10DLC messaging in the US, as all US-based numbers must be registered to avoid message blocks from carriers.
How to Register Your 10DLC Brand
To ensure successful SMS delivery, follow these steps when obtaining a new custom phone number. CleanCloud will need the following details to register your 10DLC brand:
Legal Company Name
Full Owner Name
Organization’s Legal Structure (e.g., Public or Private)
Tax Number/ID/EIN
Complete Address
Email Address
Website
Once our support team receives this information, we will submit the 10DLC registration on your behalf. Note that due to carrier processing, campaign approval can take 2–3 weeks.
Marketing and Usage Consent
To complete your 10DLC registration and meet compliance requirements, ensure the following settings are in place:
Enable Marketing Consent: Go to Settings → Admin → Marketing → Enable Marketing Email & SMS Opt-In. This ensures customers consent to marketing messages when signing up online.
Terms & Conditions Update: We will add specific SMS usage policies to your Terms & Conditions (displayed in the web booking tool and customer app) to guarantee compliance with carrier regulations.
