Getting Started with WhatsApp
Enabling WhatsApp for your CleanCloud account is a straightforward process. With a few steps and the right information, you'll be up and running in no time.
Contacting Support
In order to enable WhatsApp to your CleanCloud account, you first need to contact our Support team. You can do it by accessing Settings > Admin > Notifications > WhatsApp > Contact Support.
In the messenger window, please send us a new message confirming you want to enable WhatsApp and our team will be in contact shortly.
Details We Need
When you reach out to our team, you will need to have some information at hand in order to get started.
1. An active phone number that is not already linked to a WhatsApp business account. This number needs to be able to receive an SMS or call to obtain a verification code and doesn’t need to be on a data plan. |
2. WhatsApp Business Profile Display Name. |
3. Timezone In GMT. |
4. Business Description (Optional). |
Things to keep in mind
Once you have moved your business to CleanCloud WhatsApp, you cannot use that same number for the WhatsApp personal app or the WhatsApp business app on your phone. This means you can no longer make calls through WhatsApp to the business phone number.
👉 Note 1: Once the number is linked to WhatsApp business you will no longer be able to use the number on the WhatsApp mobile app.
👉 Note 2: We can use a number that is linked to WhatsApp already but you will lose all related data. You will have to cancel your WhatsApp business account before you can link our app with your number. You can do it by following the steps provided in this link.
