WhatsApp is a great way to stay in touch with your customers. Here's what you need to know about this new CleanCloud feature.

Using WhatsApp with CleanCloud

We now have an integration with WhatsApp where your customers can be automatically notified about their order updates. You can also turn WhatsApp to be your storeโ€™s default notification method.

๐Ÿ‘‰ For this, your customers must have WhatsApp installed on their devices and the number associated with their profiles must correspond with their WhatsApp accounts.

Availability and Fees

You can verify if WhatsApp is available in your country and what message fees are assigned to your account by going to Settings > Admin > Notifications > WhatsApp.

There is a fee applicable per message sent to each store number and that fee may vary depending on the country you are in. For reference, the system will display the price per message and per 1,000 messages.

Note: If you're not seeing WhatsApp under your Notifications settings, it may mean that WhatsApp isn't available in your country yet. Please contact our support team and we will be able to confirm this for you.

Activating WhatsApp

For us to set up WhatsApp on your account we need you to provide us with a mobile phone number that can be linked to a WhatsApp business account.

We recommend that this be a business number that is not already being used with WhatsApp. Once we link the number you will no longer have access to the number via the WhatsApp phone app and you will lose any previous data.
