In select countries, you have the option to acquire a custom phone number exclusively for sending and receiving SMS messages. This grants you a dedicated line for SMS communication and facilitates the reception of messages from your clients, which can be conveniently accessed through your CleanCloud Inbox.

Additionally, these messages are accessible in the customer CRM under the "Messages" tab, allowing you to track your communication history with customers and continue interactions via SMS and email if desired.


Cost Structure

  • To activate this service, a one-time fee of $50/£50/€50 is applicable.

  • If you are on a monthly subscription, there is an additional monthly fee of $5/£5/€5. For annual subscribers, an annual fee of $50/£50/€50 is charged.

  • Customers on our Grow package are exempt from the one-time activation fee, only incurring the monthly or annual fee for maintaining the custom phone number. Learn more.

🇺🇸 Please note that these rates do not apply to US customers, who are subject to the $25 per month fee due to recent 10DLC regulations. Further details can be found here.


Setup Procedure

  • Upon contacting CleanCloud support, your custom phone number will be secured and linked to your account within 7 days.

  • For US customers, this may extend to 6 weeks due to 10DLC regulations.

  • When making your request, specify the desired area code (e.g. 305).

Advantages

This feature proves invaluable when customers respond to order notifications via SMS, ensuring you promptly address their messages. It is especially recommended for confirming repeat pickup requests by SMS, enhancing customer engagement and preventing missed communications.


Configuration Steps

  • Once your custom phone number is active, navigate to Settings > Admin > Notifications > General Settings > Show New Message Notifications.

  • Choose the designated station for handling customer SMS messages. For example, assign SMS notifications to "Station 1".

  • Beneath the station selection, specify the duration for which customer SMS notifications remain visible on your screen.

  • We recommend setting this duration to "Until Dismissed" for timely acknowledgement and response to received messages.
