Efficiently packaging and shipping Cobblers Direct orders is crucial for a smooth process. Here's how to properly package and ship your items to Cobblers Direct for repair.

Packaging and Shipping Cobblers Direct Orders

1. Use Cobblers Direct Drawstring Bags

All items must be placed individually in the clear drawstring bags provided by Cobblers Direct in your welcome pack. Cobblers Direct will periodically send replacement bags based on your order volume.

⚠️ Important: The drawstring bag is not a shipping bag. Additional packaging is required when sending items to Cobblers Direct.

2. Including the Order Slip in the Bag

After submitting the order, a slip with order details will print from your receipt printer. This slip must be placed inside the clear bag with the items. If your customer has multiple items, ensure each item has the correct slip placed in the corresponding bag.

Shipping the Orders

  1. Shipping Boxes: Cobblers Direct recommends shipping multiple orders in bulk using a secure cardboard shipping box. You will receive a bulk shipping box when you first sign up, which includes marketing materials and drawstring bags. You can reuse this box for shipping orders and Cobblers Direct will replace it as needed.

  2. Printing Shipping Labels:

    • To print the prepaid FedEx shipping label, go to the Cleaning page in CleanCloud, then click Reports > Ship to Cobblers Direct.

    • Select the file format for the label and click “Submit and Print Shipping Label”. This will download the label to your computer.

    • You can print a bulk shipping label for all orders or select specific orders to print individual labels.

    • Use a regular inkjet or laser printer to print the label and securely attach it to the shipping box.

    • Take the box to a local FedEx drop-off location.

Processing the Orders with Cobblers Direct

Once Cobblers Direct receives the items, they will inspect them and contact the customer directly for any further details or clarification.

  • Standard repairs typically take 2-4 weeks.

  • Custom repairs may take 5-7 weeks.

📌 Note: Prices may be adjusted by Cobblers Direct and will be updated in your CleanCloud account once the repairs are finalized.
