Packaging and Shipping Cobblers Direct Orders

All items need to be placed individually in the clear drawstring bags, provided by Cobblers Direct in your welcome pack. Cobblers Direct will periodically send out replacement clear bags based on your order levels.

Note: This is NOT a shipping bag, you will need to use additional packaging when shipping the items, more details are below.

Including the Order Slip in the Bag

When you submit the order, a slip will print from your receipt printer containing the order details. This will need to be placed in the clear bag with the items. If your customer has multiple items you need to make sure that the correct slip is placed in each bag.

Shipping the orders

Cobblers Direct recommends shipping several orders in bulk using any secure cardboard shipping box to ship items to Cobblers Direct for repair.

You will receive a ‘bulk’ shipping box when you sign up containing marketing collateral and drawstring bags to kick-off the start of the service. We recommend re-using this box to ship items. Cobblers Direct will replace it with a new bulk box as necessary.

You can use any large secure cardboard box.

To print the prepaid Fedex shipping label go to the Cleaning page in CleanCloud and click on Reports > Ship to Cobblers Direct.

You will see a list of all current Cobblers Direct orders on your Cleaning page, they will all be selected.

Select the file format for the label and then click “Submit and Print Shipping Label”. This will download to your computer.

Note: Selecting all orders will print a bulk shipping label for all orders, you can select specific orders to print if necessary.

Open the file and print the label using a regular inkjet or laser printer.

Securely attach the label to the shipping box. You will then need to take this to a local FedEx drop-off location.

Processing the orders with Cobblers Direct

Once the items arrive with Cobblers Direct they will inspect the items and contact the customer directly for any further details.

Note: At this point, the price may be adjusted for the order by Cobblers Direct and will update on your CleanCloud account.

The general timeframes for repairs are 2-4 weeks for standard repairs and 5-7 weeks for custom repairs.
