Submitting a Cobblers Direct Order

We have made the process of submitting a Cobblers Direct order as streamlined and intuitive as possible to avoid confusion for your staff members. Follow the steps below:

Step 1: Select Customer & Parent Repair Product

Start by selecting a customer, then click the relevant parent product from the Cobblers Direct repair section depending on whether the repair is for shoes, boots, belts, or bags.

This will show all related services for this product type and for further details on the Cobblers Direct services, click here.

Step 2: Add Services & Upcharges

Selecting a service will show a pop-up window for specific detailing related to Cobblers Direct products, as well as all related upcharges. Be sure to detail the order fully in this section to give as much detail as possible to Cobblers Direct.

You will need to confirm that the customer has read and accepted the Cobblers Direct terms and conditions. There is a link to open these for the customer to view, or they can be emailed to the customer.

Once all relevant options and services have been selected, click the “Add” button to add the item to the order. You can click the pencil icon on the product name as you would normally to add any further item notes.

Note: Cobblers Direct items can not be placed on an order with any other items from your regular dry cleaning or laundry sections. If you add more than one Cobblers Direct item to an order, these will be automatically split into separate orders.

Step 3: Submit the Order

Once all items are detailed, you can submit the order as normal.

Note: Payment for Cobblers Direct orders can only be made when the customer back to collect their repaired items.

When you submit the order, an order detail packing slip will print from your receipt printer, this should be placed in the clear Cobblers Direct drawstring bag with the item.

Step 4: Package & Ship Your Order

The order will move to the Cleaning page on CleanCloud as normal, on this page you will be able to print all shipping labels.
