If you run a laundromat or wash and fold service, you can have laundry bags out tags print which you can print from the Cleaning page to attach to the relevant laundry bags. This will mean your staff members can easily identify which order and which customer the laundry bag belongs to.

What does this type of tag look like?

A laundry bag out tag will contain the customer's name, order ID, bag count, an indication of whether the order has been paid or has yet to be paid, and a barcode (if applied from Settings > Hardware)

To print this type of tag, we recommend using any of our compatible receipt printers such as: Epson TM-T20III USB or Star TSP100 USB. You can also print these off from a label printer on a sticky label.

If you would like to purchase one of these printers, please consult this article: Recommended Hardware

Workflow

  1. Create an order from the New Order page.

  2. Once you have marked an order as cleaned from the cleaning page, a prompt will appear where you can detail the rack location (if applicable) + bag & hanging count.

  3. Once you have detailed the rack location and/or bag & hanging count, the system will then print the bags out labels which can include also the hanging count.

  4. If you have a barcode on the laundry bags out labels, this barcode can be scanned from the Ready page so then the order is highlighted in green for you.

Additional Information

  • To enable these types of labels to print, go to either: Settings > Hardware > Receipt Printer, Settings > Hardware > Garment Tag Printer, or Settings > Hardware > Label Printer and enable the 'Print Bags Out Labels' option.

  • Number of labels printed can be set on the “Rack & Bags” pop up when an order is marked as cleaned. To enable this pop up, go to Settings > Admin > Cleaning Page. You will see an option named as 'prompt for number of bags & hanging count' which you can enable.
