Using Heat Seal Barcodes allows you to streamline various tasks within CleanCloud, speeding up the process of managing garments. The result of scanning a barcode depends on which page is active in CleanCloud.
New Order Page
If the barcode is already saved in your account, scanning it will automatically add the garment to the new order. The item’s color, stain and damage details, as well as any notes, will be pre-filled.
For customers bringing in multiple items, you can quickly scan all the barcodes to create the new order.
Cleaning or Ready Page
When scanning on the Cleaning or Ready Page, CleanCloud will automatically locate the existing order assigned to the garment and highlight the corresponding row in green.
If the garment is not currently in an active order, CleanCloud will notify you and offer to look up the garment's history
Assembly Page
On the Assembly Page, scanning a barcode will automatically assign the garment to a rack location. The system will find the nearest available spot and display the rack number.
Items will be grouped by order ID, and the system will respect the maximum number of items per rack location set for your workflow.
Other Pages
If you scan the barcode while on any other page, it will bring up the garment's full history, including the customer name and the number of orders the garment has been part of.
