Assisted Assembly simplifies the process of putting orders together by automatically placing garments in the correct rack locations after scanning their heat seals or tags.
Getting Started with Assisted Assembly
Assisted Assembly is a feature available only on our Pro or Grow/Grow+ Subscription plans. If you're interested in upgrading, please contact our support team for more details.
To enable Assisted Assembly:
Go to Settings → Admin → Workflow → Assembly → Assisted Assembly in Store.
Turn on the Active toggle.
Specify the number of rack locations and set the maximum items per location.
Choose the stage when an order should be removed from Assembly (either after cleaning or when complete).
Optionally, enable the Automatically Print Receipt if All Garments Scanned toggle.
Don’t forget to click Submit to save your changes.
How to Use Assisted Assembly
Once activated, you’ll find the Assembly page next to the Cleaning page (or the Machines page if activated).
✔ On the Assembly page, simply scan the heat seal or barcoded tag to automatically assign garments to the correct rack location. Your staff will be notified of the rack number, making it easy to place the item.
✔ If you’re using Plant Mode, you can also access the Assembly page for plant orders.
✔ In both Plant and Store Assembly, the system displays all racks for an order once it's complete, especially if the garments are spread across multiple racks. This helps streamline garment retrieval for storage.
