Assisted Assembly simplifies order assembly by automatically assigning garments to rack locations upon scanning heat seals or one-time tags.

Setting Up Assisted Assembly

  1. Ensure you have a Pro or Grow/Grow+ subscription.

  2. Navigate to Settings > Admin > Workflow > Assembly > Assisted Assembly in Store.

  3. Enable the 'Active' checkbox.

  4. Specify the number of rack locations and maximum items per location.

  5. Then, you can establish at what stage an order is removed from Assembly. This will either be when the order is cleaned or complete.

  6. Click 'Submit' to save changes.

Note: If you require adjustment to the initial 'Number of Rack Locations', please contact support as this requires manual intervention by our technical team. You can modify the 'Max Items Per Rack Location' yourself through the POS.

Using Assisted Assembly

  • Once activated, find the Assembly page next to the Cleaning page (or Machines page if activated).

  • If you use Plant Mode, the Assembly page is available for plant orders too.

  • On the Assembly page, scan heat seal barcode tags to automatically assign garments to rack locations. Staff members will be notified of the rack number.

  • In Plant and Store Assembly, the system displays all racks for an order on completion if garments are split across multiple racks. This enhances efficiency in retrieving garments for storage.
