You can set up SMS confirmation for repeat pickups. Instead of the system creating the order automatically each time, the system will send an SMS message to the customer asking for confirmation that they still require the pickup this week. You can select how far in advance the customer receives the SMS.
How It Works
Customers must reply with "YES", "Yes", or "yes" to trigger the pickup order creation. They'll subsequently receive a confirmation SMS. Failure to respond or any other reply will prevent the system from scheduling the pickup.
Setup Instructions
While creating or editing a repeat pickup, choose "Send SMS to customer requiring confirmation by SMS each time to create order" under "Type".
Specify the "Send SMS in Advance" period (1 to 6 days) for message triggering.
Note: This functionality is available for the US, UK, Australia, and Canada, with potential expansion upon request for other countries.
Important Points
Without your dedicated CleanCloud phone number, each SMS confirmation may cost up to 3 SMS credits. With a custom number, it's up to 2 credits per confirmation.
For reliability, consider acquiring your custom phone number through CleanCloud when using this feature.
