In the Driver App, you can prevent the app from opening up navigation on either Google Maps, Apple Maps or Waze.

A case where this might be relevant is if you have set repeat pickups for a set of customers and your driver is already very familiar with the route.

This would mean that they would not need for the driver app to open up navigation since they already know how to get to where they need to go to pickup or deliver orders.

To turn off the auto navigate option, make sure you are logged into the Driver app and then go to the 3 lines at the top left > Settings > Auto Navigate > No.
