There are two main methods to submit tips, whether you're a staff member using the POS or a customer placing an order online.
For Staff via POS
Ensure 'Accept Tips' is enabled in Settings > Admin > Payments & Finances > Tips. More info can be found in the 'Assigning Tips Among Staff Members' guide.
After detailing the order, click the upwards-facing arrow to access the tip submission screen.
Choose whether the tip will be a fixed value or a percentage for the specific order.
For Customers via App/Web Booking Tool
Set tip options in Settings > Admin > Pickup and Delivery > General Settings.
Define 'Tip Type' (Amount or Percentage) available for customers.
Specify the default tip type if offering both options.
Input predefined tip amounts for customers to choose from.
After configuration, customers will see these options when placing orders through the app/booking tool.
