Cash Payment Discount

Automatically apply a discount on cash orders in the POS. Learn how to set up Cash Payment Discount for better pricing.

Our Cash Payment Discount feature automatically applies a predefined percentage discount to orders when customers choose to pay in cash via the POS system.

🪄 Tip: Due to country regulations and integration limitations, CleanCloud does not support adding a surcharge fee for card integrations (e.g., Clearent and CleanCloud Pay). Instead, consider offering a cash discount for customers who pay with cash.


Activating the Cash Payment Discount

  1. Navigate to the Cash Discount Settings: Go to Settings → Admin → Payments & Finances → Payments → Cash Discount (%).

  2. Specify the Discount Percentage: In the provided field, enter the percentage discount you want to apply to orders paid with cash.

  3. Apply the Discount: Once configured, the discount will automatically be applied to orders when the payment method is set to 'Cash' in the POS.


🗒️ Notes:

  • Invoices: This feature does not apply to invoices.

  • Default Payment Method: If a store's default payment method is 'Cash', the discount is automatically applied to all orders.
