How to Import Products and Prices into CleanCloud

Learn how to import your product and price list from other POS systems into CleanCloud for a smooth transition.

With CleanCloud, you can easily import data from any other POS system into our platform. Please note that only the main admin user has access to the importing page. During the onboarding process, you may want to transfer some of your existing data. Follow this guide to perform the import yourself.

This guide will help you import the Default Price List into your CleanCloud account. Please follow the instructions carefully to ensure accuracy and avoid any issues.

How to Import Products and Prices into CleanCloud

Getting Started

1. Log into your CleanCloud account and replace the URL with https://cleancloudapp.com/import.

2. Scroll down to the Product and Price List section.

3. Click Download Template File.

4. Open up a new Google Sheet or Excel spreadsheet. Then go to File → Import, and select the template file you just downloaded.

5. Input your products into this sheet. For each product, you will need to fill out the following fields:

  • Section ID: Find section IDs in Settings → Products → Sections and on the importing tool page.

  • Price: Set the price charged to the customer.

  • Price Express: Enter an express service price (same/next day service), or copy the normal price if you don't offer rush services.

  • Pieces: Indicate how many tags should be printed for each product. For example, enter "2" for a 2-piece suit.

6. Once the data is filled in, download the file as a CSV by going to File → Download → Comma Separated Values (.csv).

7. Return to the import tool, upload the CSV file, and click the green Submit button.

⚠️ Warning ⚠️

Only tick Delete All Existing Products if you understand that this action is irreversible. Do not select this option if you have active orders, as your product list and order list will no longer match correctly.
