How to Import Machines Data into CleanCloud

Learn how to import your machine data for washers and dryers into CleanCloud for better workflow management.

With CleanCloud, you can easily import data from any other POS system into our platform. Please note that only the main admin user has access to the importing page. During the onboarding process, you may want to transfer some of your existing data. Follow this guide to perform the import yourself.

How to Import Machines Data into CleanCloud

This process involves several detailed steps. Make sure to follow the instructions carefully to ensure an accurate import.

Getting Started

1. Log into your CleanCloud account and navigate to https://cleancloudapp.com/import.

2. Scroll down to the Machines Import section.

3. Click Download Template File.

4. Open a new Google Sheet or Excel document, go to File → Import, and select the template file you downloaded.

5. Input your washer and dryer machine information according to the example in the template:

  • Column A ("Type"): Enter 0 for washers and 1 for dryers.

  • Column B ("Machine ID"): Assign a numeric ID to the machine (e.g., washer 1 = 1, washer 5 = 5). No letters allowed.

  • Column C ("Washer/Dryer Label"): Label the machine (e.g., "washer 1", "dryer 2").

  • Column D ("Capacity"): Enter the machine's capacity as a number (e.g., a washer with 30 lbs capacity = 30).

  • Column E ("Manufacturer ID"): Input the manufacturer ID (e.g., Speed Queen = 5).

  • Column G ("Maintenance Interval"): Enter the number of months between maintenance (e.g., 2 for every 2 months).

  • Column H ("Date Format"): Follow the exact date format provided in the template.

  • Columns I & J ("Maintenance/Repair Count"): Enter the number of times the machine has been maintained or repaired.

  • Column K ("Date Format"): Ensure the date format matches the template.

  • Column M ("Order Assignment"): Enter 1 if the machine will be assigned orders; 0 if not.

  • Column P ("Assignment"): Similar to Column M, enter 1 if yes, 0 if no.

6. Once your data is entered, download the file in CSV format by going to File → Download → Comma Separated Values (.csv).

7. Return to the import tool, upload the CSV file, and click the green Submit button.
