Elevate customer engagement with CleanCloud's Free Push Notifications, a powerful tool designed to enhance communication through the CleanCloud app or your custom-branded app.

Whether for sending order updates, engaging in two-way messaging, or delivering marketing notifications, push notifications offer a cost-free and highly effective means of connecting with customers.

Activating Push Notifications

To activate Free Push Notifications, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Admin > Notifications > Push.

  2. Enable the relevant settings for streamlined push notifications.

    1. Toggle “Use Push Notifications”.

    2. Optionally, enable “Send Email/SMS if Push Not Successful” for extended reach.


Order Updates

Customers who have the customer app downloaded can also receive push notifications for order updates. This would work in the same manner as SMS and email notifications.

Push notifications for order updates are based on preferences under Settings > Admin > Notifications> General Settings > set on “Send Notifications for”. Your customers can receive push notifications for:

  • Order Created

  • Order Edited and Total Changes

  • Order Edited and Date or Time Changes

  • Order Cleaned and Ready

  • Delivery Order Delivered

  • When Auto Charge Saved Card Fails

👉 Additionally, you can enable push notifications while the driver is activating the customer's order by toggling the “Driver On Their Way Notifications” option.


Two-Way Messaging

Customers can conveniently message your store using the two-way messaging tool on the customer app and booking tool. This service is free, enabling seamless communication.

  • Accessing the Messaging Tool: Customers initiate conversations by finding the message icon on the home screen of the customer app or booking tool.

  • Notification Process: When customers message through this tool, you receive a notification on the POS, visible at the top right of your screen.

  • Replying to Messages: Effortlessly respond by selecting “Push” as the notification method while sending the desired message.


Push Marketing

Take advantage of Push Marketing to engage your customers further. Follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings > Marketing and select “Push” from the menu.

  2. Type out your message, and a preview will appear on the right-hand side.

  3. Tailor your message triggers through the “Action” dropdown menu. Set rules to target specific customers by configuring them under “Add Rules”.

  4. Optionally, exclude customers associated with business accounts by toggling off the “Exclude Business Account” box.

  5. To view a comprehensive list of customers impacted by the push marketing, click on the “Affected Customers” box.

Note: For customers to receive push notifications, they must allow notifications and opt-in for marketing messages. Additionally, they will only receive notifications if they are logged in with the details they have in the POS in their online account.
