In CleanCloud, you can choose between two actions for barcode scanning: Search Mode or Batch Select Mode. This article explains what each mode does and how to change the scanning action.
Search Mode
Search Mode quickly locates the order in the system and highlights it if it appears on the Cleaning or Ready pages. If the order is on the Cleaning page, this mode simulates clicking the Cleaned button, allowing for efficient order processing.
If the rack location prompt is enabled, it will display a box asking for the rack location. You can then scan a barcode on the rack to assign its location.
Batch Select Orders as Cleaned
On the Cleaning page, you can scan multiple receipts to select several orders. The selected orders will be highlighted on the cleaning screen.
After selecting all desired orders, click on Batch Clean at the bottom of the screen. This action will move all highlighted orders to the Ready page.
How to Change the Action When Scanning
Go to Settings → Hardware and select the Barcode Scanner section.
Click the Barcode Action on Scan dropdown to choose between the two options.
Click Update to save your settings.
