In CleanCloud, you have the option to scan barcodes using your device's camera. This article will guide you through enabling and using this feature.

ℹ️ This is not the recommended workflow for day-to-day order processing. A dedicated barcode scanner is recommended for the best experience, particularly for reporting features such as audits.

1. Go to Settings → Hardware and select the Barcode Scanner section.

2. Enable the Use Barcode Scanner option and click the Update button.

3. Make sure to enable Use Barcode Scan Using Device's Camera.

4. Once activated, press Update again.

5. After enabling the camera scanning feature, a barcode icon will appear in the top right-hand corner of your screen.

Depending on the barcode action you have configured, this will either let you batch select orders to mark as cleaned, or take you directly to the relevant order.

ℹ️ Camera scanning on smartphones is best suited for order processing and is not recommended for running reporting features, such as storage rack audits.
