Step 1: Connecting to LAN

  1. Connect an Ethernet/LAN cable to your network router. This is usually the same router providing Wi-Fi for your device (e.g., iPad).

  2. Connect the other end of the LAN cable to the Ethernet port on the printer.

  3. Optional: Perform a "self-print" to determine the IP address of your printer. This process will print the IP address on the second receipt, which is essential for setting up network configurations.

Step 2: Setting Up the Printer in CleanCloud

  1. On your device, sign in to CleanCloud as an Admin.

  2. From the Dashboard, navigate to Settings → Hardware → Receipt Printer.

  3. Under Printer Manufacturer/Type, select Star webPRNT.

  4. In the IP Address field, input the numbers printed in the "self-print". It usually appears as 192.168.1.XX. You can retrieve this IP address by performing a self-print, which generates it on the second receipt.

Step 3: Setting Up Wireless Connection for mC-Print3

To enable wireless functionality, you'll need to purchase the Star MCW10 Wireless LAN Module separately.

  • This module plugs directly into the mC-Print3, offering a compact wireless LAN solution that supports the latest WPA3 standard for secure wireless communication.
