If you use a custom email domain with CleanCloud, you may find that emails are not delivered to customers who signed up using Apple’s Private Relay. This happens because Apple only trusts original @cleancloudapp.com addresses by default.
If you have an Apple Developer Account, you can manually register your own domain to bypass this restriction.
📌 Note: CleanCloud does not provide direct support for configuring settings within the Apple Developer portal. These steps are provided as a guide for users who manage their own Apple Developer accounts.
Setup Steps
Log in to your Apple Developer account.
Go to Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles.
Select Configure Sign in with Apple for Email Communication.
Under Email Sources, click the blue plus (+) icon to register your domain (e.g.,
@mydrycleaner.com).Ensure your domain complies with SPF or DKIM standards to pass Apple's verification.
👉 Important: This fix is primarily effective for native mobile apps. Due to Apple’s limitations on domain whitelisting for web services, this may not consistently resolve delivery issues for customers signing up via the Web Booking Tool.
