Branded App Download Links

How to update links and badges so your customers download your branded CleanCloud app instead of the generic app.

CleanCloud helps you strengthen your online presence and attract more customers with a custom-branded app, available on the Google Play and iOS App Stores. Learn more about setting up your branded app here.

By default, app download buttons and links point to the generic CleanCloud app, where customers manually locate your store. If you have a branded app, you can update these links so they take customers directly to your custom app. This guide explains how.


How It Works

When your branded app is set up, you can create a direct download link by replacing STORE_ID in the URL below with your unique Store ID:

When customers click this link:

  • On iOS or Android, it automatically redirects them to your branded app in the appropriate app store.

  • On other devices, it prompts them to choose which app store to visit.


Using the Link in a Marketing Campaign

If you’re creating a marketing campaign and want the Call-to-Action button to link directly to your branded app instead of the generic CleanCloud app:

  • By default, the button URL points to the generic app.

  • To update it, go to Settings → Admin → Marketing → Email Template → Call to Action → Custom URL → Button Label → Custom URL

  • Enter:

    • https://cleancloudapp.com/download/[STORE_ID]

    • (Replace [STORE_ID] with your actual Store ID associated with your branded app.)

  • If you need help finding your Store ID, contact our Support Team.


Where to Update the App Links

1. Website Links and Buttons

Use the https://cleancloudapp.com/download/STORE_ID link wherever you want to promote your app (e.g., website, social media).

  • If this link still directs to the generic app even after your branded app is live, contact Support so we can update it.


2. Email Notifications

Links in customer emails also need to be updated manually by our team.

  • If you notice email notifications still point to the generic app, contact Support and we will escalate it to have them updated.

If you’ve embedded your booking tool on your website:

If you’re using the CleanCloud Web Builder:


5. “Get the App” Carousel in Booking Tool

  • Embedded Booking Tool: update the app links in the embed code.

  • Web Builder: update them through the Web Builder menu.

  • Direct Booking Link: custom development would be required - this is not supported.


How to Find Your Store ID

Your unique Store ID is used to generate the branded app link.

  • Go to Settings → Admin → Store Settings.

  • Click Admin and note the Store ID displayed.


Escalations and Support

Some areas (like email templates or Store ID links) may still point to the generic app even after your branded app goes live. In those cases:

  • Escalate to our Support Team.

  • Specify which area (e.g., email notifications, embedded store, booking tool) needs to be updated.

  • Our team will coordinate with technical staff to ensure everything is correctly linked to your branded app.
