We’re excited to announce several major enhancements to our Plant Mode, aimed at providing greater flexibility, efficiency, and tracking capabilities. Here are the key improvements:

Customisable Stages in Admin Settings

  • Create Unlimited Stages: Administrators can now create as many stages as needed, just like any other plant stage.

  • Default Next Stage: For each stage, you can set a default next stage, streamlining the workflow.

  • User Permissions: Assign specific user permissions for each stage to control access and actions.

  • Quality Check In Plant V2: New Special Role field lets you mark stages for quality checks with Accept/Reject buttons, adding clear approval steps.

New Barcode Option: Scan to Bring Garment

  • Scan to Bring: Introducing a new barcode functionality where scanning an item brings it to the stage you are currently in. This replaces the old method of automatically moving the item to the next stage.

  • The popup information will also display the section name of the product (e.g., dry cleaning) for better clarity and tracking.

Update Order Button

  • Flexible Movement: The new update button allows you to move any order to any stage, providing more control over the process.

Activity Tracking

  • Enhanced Tracking: Version two of plant mode includes detailed activity tracking for garments and orders as they move through different stages.

  • Activity Views: You can view overall activity or focus on specific garment activity, ensuring complete visibility.

Unified Search Icon

  • Streamlined Design: The Search function has been moved to a search icon at the top right corner, unifying our design and making it easier to locate orders.

Activity Export

  • Export Functionality: We have added a new feature to export activity data for plant stages, allowing for better reporting and analysis.

These improvements are designed to make your plant operations more efficient, transparent, and user-friendly. We hope these new features enhance your experience and help streamline your processes.

Dedicated Printing Page & Plant Label Printing

  • Dedicated Printing Page in Plant 2: We have added a new printing page located at the top right of the plant. In order to access this page, you must first have a station set up in the plant with printers attached.

    • Please note you must select what you'd like to print before scanning the barcode.

  • Support for Zebra / TSC: We've added support for these label printers within Plant 2 so you can easily print summary labels to stick on packed bags of clothes.

  • Heat Seal History: We've also enhanced the heat seal history popup to show how many times a seal has been used, along with the dates it was cleaned and completed.

Push Notifications

  • When completing an order from the plant, push notifications are supported, and records of those notifications are stored for better tracking.
