Note: Automated campaigns are accessible to customers subscribed to the Grow/Grow+ plans. Upgrade today to access these and other powerful features.

Create a New Campaign

  1. Navigate to Settings → Marketing > Automated Campaigns.

  2. Click on New Campaign to initiate the setup process.

Step 1: Configuration

  • Campaign Name: Give your campaign a descriptive name for easy reference.

  • Send Using: Choose your preferred communication method: SMS, email, push notification, or templated email.

  • Enabled: Toggle this switch to turn the campaign on or off.

  • Campaign Templates: Select from available email templates, if applicable.

Step 2: Content

  • Message: Enter your campaign message.

    • SMS: Monitor character count and credits per message. 1 SMS credit equals 160 characters.

    • Email: Include a subject, title, and message body. Optionally, add a call-to-action button for actions like creating an order or scheduling a pickup.

    • Push: This will only target customers who have the app installed and have allowed push notifications.

Step 3: Rules

Customise your campaign using various filters based on different attributes:

Customer Attributes:

  • Account Created Anniversary: Engage with customers on their signup anniversary.

  • Signed Up Date: Engage with customers based on the date they signed up for your services, either in-store or online.

  • Route Number: Specify which customers belonging to specific routes should receive the campaign.

  • Has Online Account: Reach out to customers who have created an online account with your business.

  • Birthday: Send personalised birthday messages.

  • Customer Group: Send targeted marketing campaigns based on your customer groups.

Order Attributes:

  • First Order Anniversary: Celebrate the anniversary of a customer's first order to foster loyalty.

  • Order Count: Target customers based on the number of orders they have placed with your business.

  • Pickup & Delivery Order Count: Customise campaigns based on how many pickup or delivery orders a customer has made.

  • Order Count in Specific Product Section: Tailor campaigns according to the number of orders a customer has placed in specific product categories.

  • Total Order Spending: Segment customers based on the total amount of money they have spent with your business.

  • Average Order Price: Target customers based on the average value of their orders.

A/B Testing:

  • Odd/Even Customer IDs: Perform A/B testing by targeting customers with odd or even customer IDs.

Business Accounts and Affected Customers

  • Exclude Business Accounts: In the Rules step, you have the option to exclude business accounts. This ensures that the rule applies only to individual customers.

  • View Affected Customers: This count reflects the number of customers impacted based on the selected trigger. Clicking on this count will allow you to review the names of the affected customers.

Step 4: Schedule

Determine the timing and frequency of your campaign:

  • Set the sending schedule including specific days and times.

  • Define the minimum days between subsequent sends to the same customers to avoid overwhelming them.

Once all details are configured, click Submit to save and activate your campaign.

Manage Campaigns

You can create and manage multiple campaigns easily:

  • Navigate to Settings → Marketing to edit or delete existing campaigns.

  • Here, you can view campaign details such as Name, Type, Rules, Scheduler, Next Run, Count, Enabled status, and Last Run Status.

🗒️ Notes:

  • All automated marketing messages are stored within the customer CRM → Messages tab. Automated campaigns are continuous and do not appear in Settings → Marketing → History, which is reserved for one-shot campaigns.
