SMS marketing in CleanCloud is a powerful tool to engage customers, promote your services, share offers, and request reviews.
Sending Marketing SMS
Go to Settings β Marketing and select SMS from the menu.
Write your SMS and set specific rules for targeted delivery.
Toggle Exclude Business Accounts if needed.
Click Affected Customers to view recipients and check last order dates for better targeting.
Once satisfied, click Send.
πͺ Tip: Messages will queue for delivery. For bulk sending, allow several hours for full delivery. We recommend morning scheduling to avoid late-night notifications.
Message History
To track your campaigns, view the message history:
Go to Settings β Marketing β History.
Select the desired method (e.g., Email, SMS, Push, Templated Email).
For bulk sends over 150, messages are divided into blocks of 150 recipients each.
Use filters to view by communication method, notification content, customer count, date, and stats.
Important Notes
1. Permission Settings
Only customers who have opted in for marketing messages will receive your SMS. To manage permissions, go to Settings β Admin β Marketing β Enable Marketing Email & SMS Opt-In.
We recommend keeping Enable Marketing Email & SMS Opt-In active to respect customer preferences. If deactivated, customers may receive messages even if they opted out, which can lead to unsubscribed.
2. Character Limit
Each SMS credit covers up to 160 characters. Ensure your message is concise to maximize credits and avoid splitting into multiple credits.
3. SMS Credits
Before sending, check that you have enough SMS credits. Purchase credits in Settings β Admin β Notifications β SMS β SMS Credits β Buy SMS Credits.
