Conducting a Cash Up

To initiate a Cash Up at the end of your day or shift, follow these steps:

Step 1: Accessing the Cash Up Page

  1. Click on the circular profile icon located in the top right corner of the navigation bar.

  2. In the pop-up box that appears at the centre of the screen, locate and click the "Cash Up" button.

Step 2: Getting to the Cash Up Page

  1. You will now find yourself on the Cash Up page, which provides information about Recent Cash Ups.

Step 3: Performing a New Cash Up

  1. To start a new Cash Up, click the blue "Cash Up" button located at the top right of the page.

Step 4: Entering Cash and Coin Quantities

  1. In this section, enter the quantities of all cash and coins.

  2. For example, if you have 30 notes of $20 each, type "30" into the quantity box for $20. This will total up all the cash in the cash drawer.

Step 5: Setting Aside Cash

  1. Determine the amount of cash that you intend to leave in the cash drawer and enter this value into the "Cash Left in Drawer" box.

  2. Ensure that you place the specified cash back into the cash drawer.

Step 6: Finalizing the Cash Up

  1. Review the entered amounts to confirm their accuracy.

  2. Once you are satisfied with the amounts and the Cash Up is ready, click the "Submit" button to complete the process.

Reviewing Declared Cash and Notes

  1. After successfully performing a Cash Up for your store, you can review all the coins and notes that were declared.

  2. To access the "Declared Cash Denominations" section, simply click the blue amount highlighted in the "Declared Cash" column.
