Opening the cash drawer for tasks like exchanging bills is a regular part of daily operations. CleanCloud makes this process simple and efficient. Once your printers and cash drawer are set up, follow these steps:
Manual Opening
Option 1
Click the profile icon in the top-right corner.
In the dropdown, click "Open Drawer".
Option 2
Click the profile icon in the top-right corner.
Select "Cash Up", and the cash drawer will automatically open.
Automated Opening
Enabling the 'Auto Open with Payment' option not only opens the cash drawer automatically after every cash sale but also calculates the amount of change to be returned, making transactions smoother and more efficient.
Access the Store Settings within your CleanCloud application.
Navigate to Hardware and select Cash Register.
Enable the option labeled "Auto Open with Payment" and save the settings.
Troubleshooting Cash Drawer Issues
If your cash drawer fails to open during a manual or automated transaction, or if it isn't showing the correct change to be returned, check the following:
Revisit the steps to ensure the 'Auto Open with Payment' feature is enabled properly:
Go to Store Settings → Hardware → Cash Register.
Verify the "Auto Open with Payment" option is enabled.
Conduct a test transaction after enabling the settings to confirm the drawer operates as intended.
