How to Edit an Order or Change Order Status

Learn how to edit orders or change order status in CleanCloud, update order details, and track modifications with ease.

Updating an order or changing its status is useful if you've made an error, need to adjust details, or want to move an order to a different stage in the workflow.

Editing an Order or Changing the Status

  1. Locate the Order: Find the order in Cleaning, Ready, Pickups, or via Search.

  2. Click the Pencil Icon: The order details will open for editing.

  3. Make Your Changes: Update products in the basket or adjust quantities.

  4. Change Status (Optional): Click the arrow icon to update the order’s status (e.g., Detailing, Cleaning, Ready, Complete, Picking Up). Available stages depend on your store’s workflow.

    • Note: Changing the status may trigger customer notifications. If the order is attached to an invoice, it must be removed from the invoice before editing.

  5. Save or Cancel:

    • Click Submit (green button) at the bottom right to save changes.

To cancel the edit: Click the Cancel button at the top of the screen.


🗒️ Notes:

  • Customer Name Changes: You cannot modify the customer name on an existing order. To assign it to a different customer, you must delete the order and create a new one.

  • Tracking Edits: Monitor order edits by navigating to Settings → Users → User Edits. This section logs all changes, including timestamps, modifications, and the staff member responsible.
