Enhance order customization by adding upcharges to individual items. Follow these steps to apply, edit, and manage upcharges efficiently.

Adding an Upcharge to an Item

  1. After adding items to an order, click the Item Notes button.

  2. Select the upcharge from the Upcharges dropdown menu.

  3. You can apply up to six upcharges per item.


Quick Method: Using the Quick Upcharge Dropdown

Allow staff to make one-time adjustments to product prices within an order. This feature is useful when frequent small price modifications are needed without using a predefined upcharge or separate product.

  1. The Quick Upcharge dropdown appears in the bottom-right corner of the basket.

  2. Select an upcharge, and it will be applied to the last added item.

๐Ÿ“Œ Enable this feature:

  • Go to Settings โ†’ Admin โ†’ Workflow โ†’ New Order Page.

  • Enable Item Notes Allow Staff to Modify Prices on an Order checkbox.

  • Click Submit to save changes.


Editing the Upcharge Price in the Basket

  1. Hover over the upcharge price in the basket.

  2. Click the pencil icon to edit.

  3. Enter the new price and click Update to confirm.


Customizing Upcharges

  1. Navigate to Settings โ†’ Products to manage upcharges.

  2. Assign upcharges to all products or specific products as needed.

  3. Adjust costs to align with your pricing strategy.
