Assign Orders to Washers and Dryers

If you want to be able to assign orders to the relevant washers, dryers and even to a folding table and/or ironing table, just go to Settings > Admin > Workflow > Washers and Dryers.

Use Drag-n-Drop Machines Page

On this page, we recommend enabling our newer version of the Machines page, which can be activated by toggling on the 'Use Drag-n-Drop Machines Page' as evidenced below. Make sure to also enable the first toggle for 'Assign Orders to Washers and Dryers' and hit 'Submit' below once done.


When you do this, you will now see a 'Machines' tab appear next to your 'Cleaning' tab at the top of the page.

On this page, you can assign the relevant orders which require cleaning to the relevant washer, dryer, folding table or ironing table (where applicable).

This drag-and-drop version is also touch-friendly, and it is easy for your staff to navigate. Just drag and drop the relevant order to the relevant column.


You will find the relevant details related to each order on the order cards, and on the 'To-Do' column you can filter for orders by 'Order Time' or 'Due Date'.

When assigning orders to washers and dryers, you will be prompted to select the time of the washing or drying cycle, the temperature, and you can then choose the relevant washer(s) or dryer(s) to assign the order to. You can even input a payout amount if you would like to register a cost for the usage of the relevant washer or dryer, and you can input a note.

If you have an order in more than 1 washer, you will be reminded of this when you drag an order across to the next column, which would be the dryer column:

πŸ—’οΈ Pro Tip: Upon completion of the dryer cycle, a green + button facilitates additional cycles if required.

Once the order has gone through the relevant stages, you would want to make sure that it is in the 'Completed' column.
