All You Need to Know About iPad

With the new CleanCloud POS App for iPad and Android, you can easily use the POS system and monitor your orders. Simply search for CleanCloud Point of Sale (POS) in the App Store or Google Play Store.

⚠️ Warning ⚠️

The iPad should primarily serve as an operational device, intended for managing orders through the system. It is not recommended to rely solely on an iPad for front counter use, where accessories such as printers and scanners are needed. For comprehensive business use, we suggest using a Windows-based device.


Limitations When Using iPad

While Android tablets and iPad offer great flexibility,, there are a few factors to keep in mind:

  • Screen Size: Some users may find the standard iPad screen a bit small, while larger models can be more of an investment.

  • Printer Support: There are a limited number of printers compatible with iPad, for this reason CleanCloud does not officially recommend iPad.

  • Remote Support: CleanCloud staff currently cannot connect to iPads via TeamViewer for remote assistance, or printer setup.

  • Weight Scales: Weight scales are not supported.

  • Feature Availability: Not all CleanCloud features are accessible on iPads due to hardware limitations.

If you choose to use an iPad, please note that CleanCloud does not recommend or officially support this setup. The following hardware has been used by some customers, but any issues that arise are entirely your responsibility:

Tag Printer

Star SP700 webPRNT (Ethernet)

Cash Drawer

Any model with RJ-11 or RJ-12 connection
