Troubleshooting Steps
1- Scan onto Notepad
From the device you are using, open the Notepad application and scan the barcode. The result should display as follows:

2- Factory Reset
Should the barcodes not appear as above on Notepad, you will need to do the following:
a- Factory reset the scanner by scanning the necessary barcode in the manual. For example:
