Step 1: Check if the Printer is Already Installed
Ensure that your Epson TM-U220 printer is powered on and connected to your computer using a USB cable.
On your Windows computer, open Control Panel. Navigate to Devices and Printers (or Printers and Faxes if you're using an older version of Windows). Look for Epson TM-U220 in the list of printers:
If the printer appears in the list, skip to Step 3.
If it’s not listed, proceed to Step 2 to install the driver.
Step 2: Install the Printer Driver
First, download the Epson TM-U220 printer driver from the official Epson website or a trusted source. Once downloaded, right-click on the file and select Extract All to unzip it.
Open the unzipped folder and double-click on "APD Installer" to start the installation. Follow the installation prompts:
Select Epson TM-U220 as the printer model.
Choose USB as the connection port.
After installation, you’ll have the option to print a test page—do this to confirm that the printer is working correctly.
Once installed, verify that Epson TM-U220 appears in Control Panel → Devices and Printers.
Step 3: Install QZTray
Download and install QZTray, an application that allows CleanCloud to connect to your printer via a web browser. Follow this QZTray setup guide for detailed installation instructions, and ensure that QZTray is running in the background on your computer.
Step 4: Add the Printer to CleanCloud
Log in to your CleanCloud account and navigate to Settings → Hardware.
Scroll down to the Garment Tag Printer section, and select Epson as the printer manufacturer.
Enter the exact name of the printer as shown in Control Panel (e.g., "Epson TM-U220").
Click the Update button. If this is your first printer setup, a permission box will appear, asking for CleanCloud to communicate with QZTray. Check Always Allow and press OK.
If needed, you can activate settings like Auto Print Garment Tag.
✅ Your Printer is Ready to Use!
Try creating an order to test the printer and ensure everything is working smoothly.
